Settimana delle STEAM e giornata internazionale delle donne e delle ragazze nella Scienza (11 febbraio)

Questa settimana le alunne e gli alunni della Fogazzaro sono stati particolarmente impegnati in attività e laboratori interdisciplinari di Scienze Tecnologia Ingegneria Arte Matematica (STEAM).

Ecco cosa hanno fatto.

Hanno imparato attraverso laboratori di robotica educativa.

Hanno sperimentato la magia del theremin.

E per andare oltre gli stereotipi che vorrebbero mettere in un angolo il gentil sesso in ambito scientifico, gli studenti e le studentesse hanno raccontato (in italiano e in inglese) storie, passioni e sogni di "ragazze con i numeri"... alcune di loro, le hanno perfino "intervistate".

La scuola resiste!

La scuola resiste! Questo è il tema del cortometraggio su cui alcuni ragazzi della A. Fogazzaro di La Salute di Livenza, hanno lavorato nel dicembre del 2019, partendo dal testo the fun they had di I. Asimov... non sapendo che di lì a poco, a causa della pandemia, la scuola a distanza, dietro uno schermo, sarebbe diventata una realtà.

Alcune scene sono state girate nell’Azienda Agricola Ca' Corniani Genagricola; le riprese sono state curate da un gruppo di alunni dell’I.I.S Scarpa Mattei di Fossalta di Piave.

Il montaggio del film è stato ultimato solo quest'estate, a causa di tutto quello che c'è stato in mezzo, e la prima proiezione del cortometraggio è avvenuta solo sabato 25 settembre scorso nel contesto del Caorle Film Festival, a quasi due anni dal primo ciak. Comunque alla fine ce l'abbiamo fatta!

Inizieremo con la proiezione di Playing Frankenstein.

Playing Frankenstein è un cortometraggio in italiano e in inglese, realizzato a maggio del 2019 dai ragazzi delle terze della Scuola Fogazzaro, diretto da Nives Carli e Cecilia Prosperi, con il supporto tecnico di Alessandro Buoso, nell'ambito del Laboratorio di teatro proposto dall'Associazione Peter Pan.

Continueremo con delle storie di mostri per i più piccolini... 

Alcuni classici della letteratura per l'infanzia verranno letti da Chiara, Elena, Mattia, Greta, Emilia, Andreagiulia, Aurora e Carolina, delle classi seconde e terze della scuola secondaria di primo grado di La Salute di Livenza, che hanno seguito il corso di lettura animata, tenuto da Denise De Bortoli.

Inoltre giocheremo, mangeremo dolcetti e bruceremo tutte le nostre paure, facendone un bel falò!

The Rainbow Flag

The Rainbow Flag is the International Peace Flag (first used in Italy at the Peace March, from Perugia to Assisi, in 1961).

It has seven colours (violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red) with, in the center, the Italian word "PACE" which means "peace".

The rainbow is the symbol of the peace between the earth and the sky, after the great flood, so by extension, among all men.

4 October: Dialogue, Understanding and Coexistence Day

The Coexist image (often styled as "CoeXisT" or "COEXIST") is an image created by the Polish, Warsaw-based graphic designer Piotr Młodożeniec  in 2000 as an entry in an international art competition sponsored by the Museum on the Seam for Dialogue, Understanding and Coexistence (Jerusalem). 

The image consists of the word COEXIST in all capital letters, with the C replaced by an oversized Muslim Crescent, the X replaced by an oversized Star of David, and the T replaced by an oversized Latin Cross.

The image was one of dozens of works displayed as large outdoor posters in Jerusalem in 2001.
Variations of this artwork have been used as bumper stickers and elements in rock concerts.

The Great Britain Show

Il 26 febbraio, noi, ragazzi delle classi terze, siamo andati al teatro Russolo di Portogruaro a vedere uno spettacolo in lingua inglese "The Great Britain Show".

Nella prima scena, il protagonista, Neil Niceman, si è presentato e ha interpretato uno studente quattordicenne, non molto brillante, in the classroom, che grazie alla sua immaginazione riesce a passare un esame.

Neil conosce un libro parlante che gli racconta la storia della Gran Bretagna, e la conduttrice di uno spettacolo televisivo il "Great Britain Show",  che passa da Charlie Chaplin, alla regina, a Freddy Mercury e Shakespeare che mettono a confronto le loro epoche.

Ad un certo punto c'è stato uno sketch tra John Bull, un inglese, e Mario Rossi, un italiano, che si sono presi in giro a vicenda, puntando sui luoghi comuni sugli italiani e sugli inglesi, ma che alla fine si accordavano parlando di calcio.

Nel II atto è stata molto divertente la scena dei fratelli Mac Donald: Jimmy aveva bevuto tutto il whisky di Angus, che lo scopre e cerca di catturarlo con una trappola per topi, posizionata sulla sedia.

 L'atto si conclude con Neil che ritorna in classe il giorno dell'esame.

A spettacolo finito, l'attore che interpretava Neil, si è fatto intervistare dal pubblico. Abbiamo scoperto che vive a Londra e che nel tempo libero gli piace scrivere.

Lo spettacolo ci è molto piaciuto e speriamo di passare anche noi l'esame come Neil!
